"Eight Days A Week" of Afternoon Tea....Yes Please

I could never tire of the decadence of enjoying Afternoon Tea especially in London.  There are so many choices of places to indulge in this 200 year old tradition.  My favourite hands down is The Orangery at Kensington Palace.

My choice of tea, which I have never had before, was Earl Grey Blue Flowers.  Delicious.

An elegant salon with views of the palace and grounds.  Waiting for a glimpse of William or Kate?

Incredibly manicured greenery and flowers.

Kensington Palace was the home of Princess Victoria before she was crowned Queen.  She moved to Buckingham Palace after the coronation.

"You Say Good-bye, and I Say Hello"

Every Autumn Deb and I are saddened by the thoughts of closing up our summer home at Almaguin Camp Grounds in Katrine, Ontario.  Except maybe this year........Because we are heading to Jolly Old London Town.....
Our travelling group are two couples, Lyn & Dennis, and Ruth & Roger, also summer campers at Katrine.  We are all keen to enjoy some time in London and experience a 6 day cruise on the English Channel.  Our stops are Amsterdam, Belgium and Northern France, including the two islands Jersey and Guernsey, and especially for me, Flander's Field.
Our flight departs Monday September 21st from Toronto Pearson Airport for a night flight to London.
First stop, Heathrow Airport with a shuttle to our home away from home, The Princes Garden Hotel.
