Honfleur has been painted many times by artists including Claude Monet. With it's beautiful, picturesque port and 'Dutch' like houses, it is an artists dream.
On August 25th, 1944, Honfleur was liberated by the British, Belgian and Canadian army without any battle.
Eglise Saint-Leonard (St. Leonard Church in Honfleur) was built on the ruins of a previous church in the 17th century.
Are these tourists lost? No way....

Honfleur's harbour is considered one of Normandy's prettiest ports.
Normandy's fertile lands have prolific apple orchards, thus a huge cider industry.
