"Good Day Sunshine" but cool on the Hop on Hop off bus

Our first day in London we did the Hop on Hop off bus.  Sunny and a wee nip in the air.  Beautiful.

Selfies begin.

The Wellington Arch near Hyde Park.

Zipping passed the many tourists at the Horse Guard on Whitehall Road.  The guards on duty are the Mounted Troopers of the Household Cavalry.

Tiny pub squeezed between big buildings in downtown London.

St. Paul's Anglican Church best known to me as the church where Charles and Diana's married.

The Tower Bridge, better known to us as the London Bridge frames the HMS Belfast.  This ship took part in June 1944 during the Normandy landings of the Allied troops.  It also was deployed during the Korean War which my Dad served in.

Another view of the Tower Bridge.

My favourite spot in London, Westminster Abbey.

An excellent start of a great travel adventure.
