Even though I am on holidays, I still have a running goal of the Scotiabank Waterfront Half Marathon on Sunday October 18th, 2015. Thus I continued, to my delight, to run in London.
Built in 1902, and erected in Kensington Gardens in 1922, my friend, The Peter Pan Statue. I passed this bronze statue many times on my runs.
Over hanging trees dot the entire park. Amazing.
Sunrise on the water in Kensington Gardens.....only the wee birds are awake.
Green Parrots, especially Parakeets in Kensington Gardens. They estimate that there are about 20,000 of these birds living in England with the greatest numbers around London. Who knew?
An Egyptian Goose....beautiful. I recognize them by their distinctive dark brown eye patches.
Kate Middleton? I don't think so...but sure did look like her.
Sunrise on the Round Pond in Kensington Gardens. There are 270 acres of green space. Once the private gardens of Kensington Palace it has many running, walking, and cycling paths.
Queen Victoria and the Kensington Palace....I'm almost done my 14.5 kms....yippppeee.
