A wee side trip to Canterbury, England after the cruise was a suggestion by Deb. What a great suggestion it was. Lyn found us this beautiful, traditional England Inn. What a super team this travel group is!
A short walk from the Inn to get the sea legs moving.
Incredible vegetation in England. Here Deb stands next to English Holly which grows taller than her.
Holly Hocks still blooming and it's October?
Hydrangeas are huge.
Love this beautiful single pale pink rose among the hydrangeas.
Friends from home....Mallards.
School children on a visit to a blooming park near the town centre in Canterbury.
Some English lavender. Brilliant colours.
Deb, Lyn and Dennis crossing the bridge. Don't jump!
From a distance, you can see this tree has an incredibly thick trunk.
It took all of us to put our arms around it!
Love the old brick walls. Deb and I strolling the streets of Canterbury.
Many canals in Canterbury. Gorgeous green space and a super walking town.
Anyone for a tour of the canals???
